Greatest Hits: "The Ultimate Collection" and lead single: "What Do You Got"

Boring, overproduced, same old. Heard it all before, really gonna put that on a greatest hits album? I don't care if I never hear that again

I wondered at the lyrics and now knowing it was written for LH it fits for that album. But for a GH album - not so sure.
However I loved LH, still do, and perhaps listening to it in the context of those songs it will perhaps fit better for me.

But as a single to promote the GH album - I don't feel it's good enough!
But like all of you here I know what Bon Jovi are capable of! They just don't seem to have that spark anymore though.

The melody of the Chorus is catchy though, so I can see it perhaps getting the attention of a casual listener on radio, but it's a middle of the road pop song. It's not one that will stand the test of time for me. Like several of the songs on TC.

It's not bad, but it does definitely sound like 'Gotta Be Somebody' by Nickelback.

Yikes! And I thought the cool cover would lead to a good single.

I can honestly say whether they chose this or "This is Our House" didn't matter. I actually probably prefer the 2nd option.
