The more I'm listening, the more I'm liking it. Which is great because I was a tad underwhelmed when I first heard it.

Apples and oranges mate! To the average music snob, there aren't any Jovi tracks that can stand up to Dylan, Cohen etc.. Why make such comparisons? That's like arguing that Dry County is more epic than Stairway to Heaven. Let people enjoy what they fvcking enjoy! Music is art, and art is never *objectively* good or bad. If you don't like it, or even hate it, that's completely fine. If you think that it's "barely a 1/10", I personally can't understand why you're still here. The band you obviously fell in love with, or that you identified with or something, died a long time ago - no one stopping you from listening to NJ or KTF or whatever tickles your fancy.

What's up with all the Ryan Adams comparisons? I've never even heard of this dude... He's not popular in America... Is his music similar to Jon's? Did he do a Bon Jovi cover or something? I just looked him up and he looks like some emo 2000 band.

His style can be classified as alt-country or Americana. His lyrics are really good. being popular has zippo to do with talent.

No. You're completely missing the point. They're saying why listen to this song when better music exists when better song writers exist.

Why should I be satisfied with anything given that there is ALWAYS something better out there, or on the horizon?! It's a stupid argument!

Default Let's rate: This Is House Is Not For Sale, the song

I'll tell you one change I'd make - after the first chorus I wouldn't have the "I'm coming home" bit I'd have it after 2nd chorus

They really should've held onto We Don't Run and do that as a proper single. It would've not been a hit either, but at least it would've built some excitement for the fans.
I gave it a 6 as well. Par for the course these days. Not a bad song. It is a decent, safe song.

But WOW I could not put it into words any better than this. Well done Walleris.

There is still hope I suppose. I keep thinking about the Bounce record for some reason. TLFR aside, it was the last time that I heard them trying something new (for better or worse) in nearly every song. The reason there is still hope is because they released Everyday first which was the post-IML, fairly generic first single. Maybe it will be the same this time... there's hope there will be some exciting stuff to come.
