Really a shame!
It sounds so much like a solo Bobby would play

had this song been produced/mixed in the 90's or in the early 2000s we would talk now about a totally different song

Didn't think that "getting back to our roots" meant going back to emulating Bobby's sound. Always a surprise in the bag

Yes, but the past is the past.....

It's still a great song! Except the guitar by John Shanks! He co-wrote living Proof with JBJ.

Who said, John Shanks can't write a good song?

I just had a few listens. Well, the intro sounds very hard-rockish, plus the talkbox and the chorus are the absolute highlights. But if it just had a different, more energetic, blasting guitar solo... Moreover I don't really get why they put in such unfitting bridges. It's the same with Beautiful Drug and Limitless, I highly dislike the bridges in these songs. They completely destroy the flow of the song. But yeah, overall it's a decent song, the chorus and the talkbox kinda saved it for me. I wish the solo had the same rockish sound as the guitar in the very beginning, it just sounds sooo cheap and hollow

Great to hear that Bobby 'Jimmy Page' Bandiera has returned. O how I've missed him.

I hate to be a downer, but the production is so flat. It takes all the life out of the song. The chrous is good, Jon's voice sounds OK, the solo is dreadful. The intro sounds good and then it just kinda dips. Zero energy.

It's a good song for the last 10 years, but it's no We Don't Run. Play We Don't Run after this and it's so much more powerful. Like someone else said, if it was recorded and produced in the 2000's it could have been something great.
