I think this is what me and JBJEveryday were talking about, but I'm on the opposite side of the fence on the matter. I feel like the voice is regular in the chorus, and much much softer in the voices and it gives the song a different feel. It almost sounds more...sincere? I don't know the right word, honest maybe. The verses, at least. There's more feeling there.

Yea, I'd say the vocals sound great in the chorus, but still not as edgy as the song as a whole.

I really like it. Definitely got a country, Keith Urbanish, flare to it with the banjo and fiddle. The pacing is kind of different with Jon doing the talking/singing kind of thing toward the end. My thought is, that this song won't be on the record. I think it will be a soundtrack only song, but that's just a feeling I have.

I listened to it quite a lot last few days but I just don't like this one.
It's got everything that was bad (IMO) from crush/bounce & Jon sounds like a boxset song

The more I think about it, the harder it is to believe that Jon won't put this song on the album. He already made reference to naming the album Lost Highway. At that time he would of had to know the song would be used in that movie. That is not something that pops up last second before the movie is released. The song is def. the best of the 4 that I've heard thus far and seems to fit the mold of the country/rock mix he wants.

It seems to be a bit unfinished to me, but there is something about it I really like, I suspect a more reworked finished version of this ends up on the record.

It seems to be a pretty good song ... certainly not a return to Bon Jovi of the 90s, nor the best song they've recorded this decade, but its definetly not among the worst either. Actually, it gives me some hope about this album: every song we've heard seems to be quite different, and its nice to see some experimentation again. I hope the rest of the album tries new things as well

*Shrugs* I liked Bounce because of the experimentation ... I'd imagine it'll be something of a follow up to HAND, using that as a starting point and branching outwards from there
