I think that in matter of art quality is probably associated with creativity originality and complexity including technicityas well as authenticity ... I had a neighbour who was a jazz saxophonist he used to laugh at my musical taste saying that rock (lol I am not even talking about pop )was just so primal it couldn't be as "good quality" as John Coltrane ....then enters what is called taste and what is called the ordinary and the extraordinary .... not everyone has the same taste but even if it's not ok to talk about quality for music everyone can understand what was meant here ...
