Aloha !

I've seen a 20 minutes of a promo DVD of the Madison Square Garden DVD and my oh my Jon has overdubbed the songs as if his life depended on it. The full chorusses of Living In Sin are resung as are parts of Raise Your Hands. The sound is good though, still doesn't sound like a live recording though but that's what you can expect from Obie nowadays. At least he's improved his mixing skills since Crush.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Crush sounded like Richie was standing in a bathtub.
Poor mix.

Hope MSG will bring at least DTS.
The only DVD with a good audiotrack so far is the TLFR concert and you don't want to listen to that DVD for fun.

I salute you,
TS

That song builds some atmosphere, it's not needed as the 3rd song in the set.

What was wrong with placing Bad Name there?
It's not only that they've taken away "Bad Name" and exchanged with "Blaze", but they cut this song into the outro of BTBMB, as if the band played it as a medley. Horrible. Apart from that, "Blaze" is working as a third song, surprisingly. That slide riff is just a killer.

Nobody will ever understand Obie.

We yet have to wait again for a proper-live-dvd which I doubt will ever be released.

I salute you,
TS

I for one am happy that they've moved Bad Name and only have Medicine when the credits roll 'cause I am soooo sick and tired of hearing these songs over and over and over. Sure at the shows I accept them for what they are but for this DVD this suits me just fine.
