It's easier to overcome when you're not a native speaker of English

I obvioulsy hear what jon is singing but it doesn't resonate as much as if it were in French. Still a strong song in my opinion.

I'm not a native speaker but the line "I'm in love with my first guitar" kinda kills to song for me it's just strange. And I know and like the backstory of Jon buying back his first guitar.
The song itself is one of the more musically and instrumentally interesting (not using its full potential though) but I'm having a hard time not getting annoyed by this line.

I love this song. Love it more the more I listen to it. Am I the only one that could almost visualize Meat Loaf singing something like this?? No lyrically but musically it to me sounds like something Steinman could write for Meatloaf to sing! Just me?? Ok....

It's too short for Steinman

It's defo been the song that's grown on me the most. I think the first 'I'm in love with my first guitar' he sounds bad but the rasp on the other parts and the guitar, the outro with 'woahhh' and then the 'Haaa' is classic Jon, for me.

I find this song to be a real chore to get through, and quite ironic lyrically speaking. Album ends on a two song snooze fest just like What About Now. Interesting Jon should mention Kiss when their song Forever is much better than anything on this album.

Hahahaha truth!! For it to make sense you need to imagine a 3 minute outro and a 2 minute intro featuring sounds of a guitar unboxing and a motorcycle running

This has probably the best guitar work on the record and it's a snooze fest?

I understand it's your opinion, but I think this is the most 90's sounding song in a long time.

I find the song plods along and that outro solo lacks the feeling Richie played with, and there are no real fireworks to make up for that lack of feeling. It's quite boring actually.

I'm just wondering what makes it sound 90's to you?
