It's easier to overcome when you're not a native speaker of English

I obvioulsy hear what jon is singing but it doesn't resonate as much as if it were in French. Still a strong song in my opinion.

I'm not a native speaker but the line "I'm in love with my first guitar" kinda kills to song for me it's just strange. And I know and like the backstory of Jon buying back his first guitar.
The song itself is one of the more musically and instrumentally interesting (not using its full potential though) but I'm having a hard time not getting annoyed by this line.
"If you got a dream, no matter what anybody tells you, if you think that you’ve got to go for it, then you should go for it, because you’ve got one life. And the next time somebody tells you: ‘You can’t do that’ you can tell them to screw themselves, because it’s your life and you do what the hell you want with it. So this is a song about having a dream and chasing it, till you find the Bright Lights." - Aldo Nova.

I love this song. Love it more the more I listen to it. Am I the only one that could almost visualize Meat Loaf singing something like this?? No lyrically but musically it to me sounds like something Steinman could write for Meatloaf to sing! Just me?? Ok....
