You're judging the entire album on the vibe you're getting from ten seconds of the lead single, which is always the most commercial side of the whole thing. And the lines the promo team has used for each album has been similar and people have hated it then too. People should unplug themselves from the promo machine and listen to it for themselves instead of waiting for the band to fail so they can call Jon a liar.
