Guitar intro and solo is a lot like HAND, but that's not a bad thing. Like the thumping drums, soaring backing vocals in parts. Jon even sounds better than he did on WAN to me as well.

However, the big issue for me is the subject matter. I can't connect with the house thing. If someone can help me interpret it in a different way I'd be very happy to hear it. I think I might be taking it too literally.

I know it sounds stupid but having always rented, never bought or built my own home I can't empathize in what the songs about (if its about having your own home). I also looked at it in a sort of hometown pride way:

"Outside the sky is coal black, the streets are on fire
The picture window is cracked and there's nowhere to run
I know, I know
This house is not for sale"

That says to me even though this neighbourhood is shit I'm still sticking here cos I love this town .

But I don't really empathize with that either cos I moved 200 miles away from where I was born and I'm happy living elsewhere!

Maybe its just one I'm not going to get a feel for!
