I'm not the one praising Jon or the band for everything they do.
But I don't get the hate for Fairytale in comparison to the original since The Pogues' versions sounds like a drunk bummer singing. Compared to that Jon did a decent job.

But now he’s too far gone. I don’t think I’ll be paying 120€ to see Jon struggling to breathe let alone sing again. Tico looks ill (though plays like the top professional he is), David is more interested in his projects and rightfully so, and I can’t stand the ‘Shanks is Guitar God’ whilst Phil X plays rhythm rubbish.

Hopefully Richie will come out with an album before something bad happens to him, then do one last tour with the lads...fingers crossed.
You just proved my point. I implied you want them to be bad so you can complain and you debated that by.....laying into what's wrong with the band? At this point we're all aware about the state of the band but between "Jon is a psychopath" and "Tico is sick", I don't know what the band can do to win you back.

Au contraire, I wanted them to grow old gracefully and with pride.

There’s a big difference between a ‘psychopath’ and a ‘sociopath’, check it out...

And sorry, there is no band anymore. It’s all about Jon, so Jon should‘Ve gone solo and do something worth doing (like Destination, Stand Up Guy,...).

Win me back? I’ll always buy Jon’s stuff and enjoy it; hopefully Richie will do something too. I’d love to go and see a David Bryan musical and would love to see Tico doing his art and retiring from music.

These guys have been with me all my life and I wish them all the best, but these guys are no longer a band once known as Bon Jovi, they are 4 individuals; the leader and frontman without a voice and struggling to even breathe...it’s time to change or call it a day.

So before 2013 Bon Jovi was a duet?

Speak for yourself. I still enjoy his latest album 2020, if Jon wants to make more albums, go ahead, I'm ready for whatever comes next.
About the tours, I already said it a long time ago, since 2015, they no longer work live for me, but Jon is a musician and has the right to do shows like other artists who lost their touch, like John Fogerty or Bob Dylan, they go ahead.

What I do realize is that it is time to release songs from the vault, and I hope JBJ EX is generous with this, I want to hear Halo and many others who did not make the albums. I also want to hear solo JBJ songs that didn't make the Destination or Sex Sells album.

You've totally missed the point of the original....and the irony in your post...

Okay. Thank you for another diatribe about how dissatisfied you are with the band that you want everyone to know. The horse is dead, man, you got him.

John Fogerty lost his touch?
Oh rolo,c mon
Fogerty has been one of the top live acts for 50 years.
He has lost a bit of voice in the last couple of years but he is 75 years old.
Anyone who has seen him live will deny your statement.

Jon's Fairytale cover is getting battered and rightfully so. Its not just another fluffy Christmas song, its a classic that people in Ireland the UK really hold dear.
