That's why I said he is supposed to be a rock star, not that he is one.

I get, I do, I just really think/hope people stopped expecting that of him by this point. Anyone taking the stance that he should have changed the lyrics because he's a rock star has completely fallen for the bands marketing that is so far removed from reality.

It is a simple Christmas cover, I don't think it is for such a fuss.

Ed sheeran also censored the song when he played it on BBC radio 1. It is true that if you are not going to be able to play this song in its essence, it is better not to. But it doesn't seem like a crime to me either.

I think if Sambora and Orianthi had played this one, it would have been fantastic.

Was it CeeLo Green who a few years ago released a cover of Imagine and removed/changed the lines about no heaven and no religion because he is a religious nut? Art is not something you mess around with to be PC. It's like covering up a naked statue. People who do these things should be reviled. Moreover, Jon is supposed to be a rock star. He's the last person who should be bowing to PC culture.

No, you misunderstand. My point is that he should NOT have changed the lyrics. Big difference.

I am not surprised that he did what he did; I fully expected it as I started to listen to the song but I was still very disappointed when I heard it.

Fantastic lol

Faggots aside, it’s terrible.

Is John so up Jon’s arse and viceversa that they have no idea how terrible Jon sounds?

I've never seen a song get destroyed as much as this one.

Christmas all over is at #65 on iTunes world charts even though Fairytale already has 3x more views than Christmas on YouTube.
