I think he just takes all of his throwback pictures directly from Instagram fan accounts. He recently said that he likes scrolling through the posts people tag him in, because he keeps discovering old pictures and videos he completely forgot about, so I guess he just doesn't bother digging up the originals.

Pretty sure this picture is actually the version I edited (and posted on Twitter a couple times), because the original has a warmer color tone while the one he posted has the same cooler colors as the one I edited. [emoji28]
