But if the only way to listen is to catch it when Sirius stream it, then fans are going to download / trade it, etc, any way that they can. Like Rolo says, it's no different to the way we recorded Milton Keynes or Wembley off of BBC Radio 1 back in the day etc. We all did that and no one had a problem with it.

As long as it's for your own personal use and you are not putting it out there for others to download or stream publicly, then I don't see the issue and I don't see how it threatens the Sirius stuff going forward at all.
I don't not agree but comparing this to the old fashioned ways where they were making the money elsewhere, I don't think it's an apt comparison. Sure they didn't care if shows were bootlegged, they were making hand over fist on merch sales, live shows, album sales, a cash cow bonanza in the old world.

Bigger picture I don't think the amount of new Sirius subscriptions they get because of this show will ever be analyzed that deeply but I'm also more pointing out how quickly the word loot was brought up and we're begging for morsels we're telling them there's an audience and we'll pay for it. It's a very uneven conversation point sometimes. The organization put themselves into this position and ruined the legacy so it's sad that its come to this.
