Again just speaking from the UK, I think it started KTF era. The band came back, Jon had cut is hair (long hair rocker types were never going to be mainstream heart throbs here) and the band were more successful than ever here. They were all over media and TV and every single was a hit. Nothing from New Jersey was really a crossover hit here, the album did very well in the rock crowd and carried over the people that were introduced to them through SWW, but it didn't produce a real mainstream hit single like Prayer or Bad Name.

I think it all built from there and by the time Always hit then it was really starting to become predominantly a female audience. A lot of the old rock fans were getting turned off by the ballads, or had moved on for whatever reason.

Anybody knows what's going on with the box packages? Weren't there supposed to be 4 in total, 1 every quarter? So the second one was supposed to get shipped in April. Maybe I missed some updates on that. Thanks!
