Just listened to the Q&A yesterday. I got from it that he discovered that Halo song but that it was never finished, because they couldn't get both verses and the chorus to work. So why would that change now and why would they release it in unfinished form (and would there even be a recording of it)? So for now, it's just the christmas songs, which should've been dropped by now according to the Q&A !?

On a side note: what do you guys think, will this process of releasing "new" songs involve recording additional/new parts like on the box set? Would probably seem neccessary, depending on the song, wouldn't you say? So maybe that would explain the time it's taking and play into what Jon said about the whole next year...

I'd rather the warts-and-all version. I don't want it worked on to make it more contemporary or pleasant sounding, show me a blueprint.

I don't think the two are mutually exclusive. They're not going to release 80 new songs through this thing. At this point I feel like we'll be lucky if we get 4 or 5. The people who signed up for this aren't really the fan base begging for unreleased demos and the fanbase that is is too small. Most of them will probably get it for free when it leaks online so we're boned either way.

That is my fear, that it is another scam like american xs platinum. 4 or 5 songs were released and then he died.

"Scam" is a little much. It underdelivered in length but we got 4 or 5 songs and a bunch of exclusive unreleased videos. What's the scam in that? That we didn't get MORE? I'm even blanking on the cost, does anyone remember what it charged?

EDIT: It was $10.00. I'd of loved more but $10.00 for 4 or 5 songs and a bunch of BJTVs is worth that cost.
