I get what Jon said: the verses are good! The chorus need to change the some words, but the "it ain't anything like thunder / it's the sky we're standing under" is great!

If the year was up, yes. But this isn't a monthly fee, it's annual. They literally are only getting started. It's not that they haven't released anything, it's that the selection so far hasn't met the taste of the people complaining. But out of fairness its early and the cost is so low to redeem themselves.

I can imagine the talks in the archives:
Obie: "Hey Jon, what should we prepare for the JBJ Experience?"
Jon: "I don't know, you choose..."
Obie: "We got that one from 1994..."
Jon: "Nah, not that one..."
Obie: "Or this one from 1987..."
Jon: "Nah, those are like baby pictures..."
Obie: "Or some demos from Keep The Faith..."
Jon: "Do we have to pay Richie royalties on them?"
Obie: "Probably."
Jon: "You know what? Let's just take a concert with the Kings of Suburbia and I'll ask John to dig out a recent demo."

...and Obie silently cries over a box of old tapes, just like the last 20 years...

Well... there won't be royalties to Richie as he sold his rights to some company there that I don't recall the name hahahaha
