I don’t get the “was this the Feb bed of Roses or the august” etc.
Who cares. Do you really need to hear BOR again? You’ve heard it 1000s of times. It’s not rare. Go on YouTube there’s 100s of BOR live and all the others. There’s nothing special of those 4 tracks released.

Jon has the entire vault at his disposal and he’s released 4 songs everyone’s seen and heard before.

People defending this are batshit crazy.

What live performances are you expecting to get out of this? The other 3 are lame but they're not the overshared versions of Prayer and Bad Name at least.

Yes, this Bed of Roses IS rare, just because you can find other performances of that song on YouTube doesn't mean this specific performance isn't rare. I get being sour over this, it's been hella underwhelming but I don't get having an issue with them putting out a live version of a hit if it's from a period where a ton of pro-shot stuff wasn't released by them.

They came back in August. Jon's voice wasn't in such a good shape anymore. But moreover, this was the ONE show where parts of the lightning rig actually malfunctioned, causing him to be in the dark for many parts of the show. Of course, they choose this one instead of the first one.

I agree with your point. I don't mind seeing something that's already on YouTube as long as we didn't get it in a professional quallity. That's why those three suck and Bed Of Roses doesn't.


If they had chosen together with Bed of Roses for example:

Always - Live Cologne 2001 (Pro Shot)
Thick As Thieves - Live Sydney 2013 (Pro Shot)
It's Only Make Believe - Live Little Rock Arkansas 2013 (Pro Shot)

I would be very happy and excited about the JBJ Experience.

I'm still baffled as to why they gave us recycled material when they have an entire vault full of unreleased material.

Someone should really call them out on their shit.
