WITHOUT a clean up, and with Obie being pretty much on speed dial, it'd be super cheap. Transfer them all once, run them through some basic mixing and clean up (you know, the kinda stuff HAND does for free regularly), it's still dirt cheap. Again, if you're gonna run stuff like a business, with zero romance for rock & roll, that's fine. But they're doing a bad job even from that angle. It just seems cheaply done all around. The old slogans ("NEVER BEFORE SEEN!", "EXCLUSIVE!") make this shit seem even fishier. Oh well.

If I'm ever to eat these words, I'll gladly take the unreleased tracks - it's not like me bitching is my dream outcome of this. But as of now, that's what it is.

True enough, very fair points. They could easily have a lot more sales if they did this right. I wonder if it's case of laziness on their part or thinking the stuff we want isn't the stuff the majority of casual fans want. I can't wrap my head around why they're blowing it like this.

Yeah for what they're promising then not delivering it's really fishy to me too.

Since the beginning, Jon has been breaking his promise, correct me if I am wrong:

He said:

*The members will get a cut from the director of On A Night Like This with 6 bonus songs, the same day the movie is released on YouTube.

*We would hear Halo soon.

*Unpublished photographic material and alternative shots.

*In the Valentine's Day video, he said 4 never seen before videos.

So clearly, he's not doing shit, he's probably using his time to rest, and maybe compose for a new album. At one point in the livechat he said something like "I'm going to give you my best right all this year, because I have nothing to do." Well, we already know that his word is not worth shit.

Halo and the photos still may happen. Don't rule that out just yet.

The other two are true. Maybe we will get the other songs from Directors Cut but I can't say I'm too fussed. Heard them a million times and Jon is only going to sound shit anyway.

I totally forgot about that Director's Cut thing, I wonder what happened. Could it have been a rights/publishing issue as older songs?

The balls on a guy to say "4 never before seen videos" some of which released on DVDs blows me away.

Though yeah, some of Rolo's complaints are two, some are just down to impatience. He didn't say when, just that we'd get them. It's very carnival huckster-y.

He seems to spend most of his time making stupid vids to sell wine which irritates the hell out of me. He’s on Channel 4 news and The One Show tonight both at 7 o’clock but not sure why. If it’s to promote Story of Love he is wasting his time. That and the album is dead in the water!🙄

This isn't the first time I've heard this take and I'm struggling to understand it. If the album is dead in the water why are people against him going on shows to promote singles? To say the single is dead in the water like 10 days after release....huh?

I can't see it succeeding but at least give it a chance to fail. He's at least out there talking about it and that's better than selling wine.
