WITHOUT a clean up, and with Obie being pretty much on speed dial, it'd be super cheap. Transfer them all once, run them through some basic mixing and clean up (you know, the kinda stuff HAND does for free regularly), it's still dirt cheap. And they'd have gotten money from people who aren't just wino soccer moms. But nope.
Again, if you're gonna run stuff like a business, with zero romance for rock & roll, that's fine. But they're doing a bad job even from that angle. It just seems cheaply done all around. The old slogans ("NEVER BEFORE SEEN!", "EXCLUSIVE!") make this shit seem even fishier. Oh well.
If I'm ever to eat these words, I'll gladly take the unreleased tracks - it's not like me bitching is my dream outcome of this. But as of now, that's what it is.

True enough, very fair points. They could easily have a lot more sales if they did this right. I wonder if it's case of laziness on their part or thinking the stuff we want isn't the stuff the majority of casual fans want. I can't wrap my head around why they're blowing it like this.
Yeah for what they're promising then not delivering it's really fishy to me too.
