The news is out straight from Jon.

Is it band or solo?

Is it an album or single?

Could it be part of a bigger compilation?

Not surprised....JBJ can't keep still and relax ( He can't Tour now at the moment or maybe forever) so has rested physically and mentally.

Does the new music mean a new single(s) or a New Album to come in late 2025?

In regards to the Box-Set it doesn't appear it's going to happen with the Record Company saying physical CD is not profitable, JBJ could fund it to happen, unlikely he will use his own money for fans to make it happen.

I say digital more likely if it ever happens.....

That's good news. I'm happy for the band to continue recording new music even if they can't tour any more.

Yeah, I'll always welcome new music. I get that a lot of people aren't into them anymore but I still really got excited this year for the new album.

I'm intrigued as to when we'll have something new...

Same. I always welcome new stuff. I just wish they condensed it a bit, especially in 2000's, cause there were lots of gems (with lots and lots of filler) in those several albums.

Probably a playlist on Spotify of the unearthed tracks or a physical box set. Doubt they wrote and recorded a new album. Jon did mention the unreleased tracks would come in 9 months time...back when Forever was released. New as in unreleased.

I feel a lot of bands are releasing the extended editions of albums now a days.

Kinda like what they did with This House: Walls - When We Were Us

I can't see a full album on the horizon so my guess is this.

And my other guess is First Quarter.

I don't want another full album in 2025, as much as would also love new music from the band. But the truth is: As long as Jon isn't open to some fresh input when it comes to the sound of the album, I don't see myself getting excited anymore for new BJ music after the disappointment with Forever. I hope for the release of the boxset or the unreleased tracks of Forever

How great it is to have your favorite artist be a strong leader who always looks forward, not backwards!


On a serious note, I support the guess that it's most likely some new songs to be part of Forever Super Deluxe 2025 reissue or something.
