It's good that we can have this and something like Devils or Scars on this album.
I agree with that, however I find the studio performance(recording, mixing, production, whatever) quite bad. BAT on the contrary sounds fresh and kickass.

And that's why I like it - it's one of the simpler Bon Jovi songs, but that's the kind of thing that made them famous in the first place, but it's not It's My Life x 2000000000

Now I really dig all 4 tracks that Bon Jovi have released up to this point and have refrained from listening to any of the live songs, even though the excitement on this board is making it very tempting.
That being stated, Knockout from its initial release and then with the video release has catapulted into my favorite out of the 4 tracks.
Refreshing to witness some of the media picking up on this as well.
I apologize if someone has posted this already...
Here's the link to extremely positive review for the song/video which remains in the top 20 videos on Tidal.

Possibly are music videos. Metallica is rolling these days a lot of videos for the first 6 songs from his new album. Possibly after the release doing the other songs. I think the plan of Bon Jovi is very similar.

Right on!!
I thought you would appreciate this write up.
I dig how the author breaks down some of the lyrics as well.
Really dissects the song along with the superb video which in my opinion,
along with THINFS,
are two of the best videos the band has released in a long, long time.

Excellent!! She mentions my favorite lyric of the song, “Are you living in a nightmare/Are you living in a dream?/Do you stand for something/Will you fall for anything?”

Absolutely!!
This is the type of Bon Jovi track that you really have to play through headphones in order to fully appreciate it's overall spirit. I believe you mentioned previously, it's an ideal workout song which I completely agree with.
Production heavy or not, It just may be the song that brings on the next wave of JOVI fans.

Knockout is tne first Jovi studio song in which Jon sounds flat and tired. He usually leaves that for the concerts but I guess it's starting to show even in the studio...
