It would make sense if this was the new track on a compilation but a compilation of what? If there's a new song it means the band is more involved than the label just putting out whatever they legally are allowed.

New Album - Burning Bridges 21/08


I hope it is a compilation of unreleased songs, they have a lot stored in vault. That would explain the lack of promotion, and perhaps play some songs in concerts of September/October.

How about a compilation of outtakes from the last albums? Maybe this song will serve as a radio promo single just like they did with Radio Saved My Life in 2004 for the box set.

That would also explain the song title already floating around during The Circle era and the complete lack of promotion from the Jovi camp. A new single/album surely would have been promoted differently.

Too good to be true, I know...

In a perfect world, this would be ideal to tide us over until the next album. The songs Richie co-wrote to me puts that into jeopardy. I couldn't see the next album being heavy with Richie heavy inclusions unless both sides talked and okayed it.

i think the record company wouldnt cut and burn outakes from cds that failed commercialy...lets be realistic
imo its too early for a third compilation, my personal opinion is a digital single from next record...jon wants to test the waters, try sth new and have a couple of new songs for the mini tour. unless they are super confident(or lazy) about the new album and get it out on september/october...
