Well, "people who like their music", sure, but they're not a "starter pack" band. Unless we are talking about "80s music" - the very thing JBJ never wanted to become primarily associated with!
Yeah. Extended editions are aimed at diehards, not casuals. It will be a higher price point with a bunch of unseen/unheard things and I don't even think there's that much from that era that hasn't been unearthed studio wise.

I just think Bon Jovi, the band, has silently died already. I think there’s no boxset, nor new album on the works.

No official announcements, they’ll just fade away between nostalgia posts in social networks and rosé ads until Jon’s demise.

I think this is....a little much. We all know and have known for ages 2024 is when everything is launching (Box set and new album). I think they are blowing it on social media but at the same time, no one gives a shit about what they're doing now. Who are those posts even aimed at, us? Make a post of them in the studio or anything promoting a new album and you get comments talking about the 80's.

Phil X was supposed to start a project with Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony. He then announced he couldn't do it. I thought this had to be Bon Jovi related. So I don't think they are planning on just fading away. Although to be 100% honest I almost wish they would because to me they died along with Jon's voice.

Strange I was listening to an oldie's station on SiriusXM and they played Wanted Dead Or Alive. This was clearly an old recording because Richie was singing and sounded fine, however, Jon's voice sounded bad to me on it. I couldn't believe it because that song was clear back on SWW! Maybe I have become obsessed with Jon's singing voice or lack of it?

So, no news yet... It has been pretty quiet around the band. If they want to release something this year, they should slowly start with teasing about what's in the making. Or they'll release it all next year.

Matt tweeted yesterday that they’re putting together a Runaway event for the 3rd week of August, so I guess there’s at least some stuff happening behind the scenes at the moment. Who knows what else they might be working on.

Thanks for that! Official confirmation by JBJ.

Anything significant mentioned? A mini-Tour?( he shouldn't with his voice) how long he intends to go on?

I guess the Bon Jovi 40th Anniversary Box-Set is released in Spring 2024? Not during the Christmas/New Year time in 2023?
