That’s fair. I know he did say he said he sounded ‘like shit’ at Wembley 2019 or something to that effect, so it’s not like he’s unaware. I just wonder if these moments of honesty are too few and far between, and when push comes to shove Jon will lie to himself to keep the show going, so to speak. But we’ll see.

I remember during the start of the BWC tour in the US I noticed that he was having some small issues in songs like HAND, BTBMB and it was noticeable that his voice was very strained when singing Always. But I didn’t think much of it, because it was common for Jon at the time to start out slowly and get his pipes going as the tour progressed. However, when he attempted Hey God in Bergen I thought: “we’re in big trouble”. And it all went downhill after that. I’m pretty sure that he knew his voice was deteriorating fast, but he did all he could the keep the machine spinning up until the point where he didn’t have any other option but to address it.

If he thinks that performance was good, he hasn't got a clue about his singing.

After this video, people are angry and returning CDs because looks like most of them are fake. This is scadalous if true.

This album is so much better than THINFS and 2020 but aside from Living Proof (talk box and big chorus) and People's house (nod to KTF) it doesn't sound like what you expect Jovi to sound like but does in an odd way.
I guess the last 2 albums haven't really sounded like Bon Jovi.

I wonder how the last 3 would've sounded if Richie was still in the band?

As much as I hate to say: I can't believe that Jon sinks down to this low level-ripping off his fans by selling fake signed CDs. The evidence I saw in the video sadly looks overwhelming.

So I made a small edit to Legendery to include the "Hey Hey"s from the Demo Version... I don't know why I do these annoying things but I feel it fills out the lead into the chorus more.

Here is a sample:

I also liked the "Hey Hey" in the demo and wished it had been left in the official version.

I'm not ready yet to do full review, but my general impressions until now is that this is a solid album, best since at least The Circle.

Very good or superb songs that I honestly enjoy:

1. Seeds
2. Waves
3. Living Proof
4. That Was Then, This Is Now

Okay songs that either grew on me or I think are alright:

1. People's House
2. We Made It Look Easy
3. My First Guitar (that Kiss part saves it)

Fillers I don't care about and probably won't listen again:

1. Legendary
2. Kiss the Bride
3. I Wrote You a Song
4. Hollow Man

Abysmal/very cringe:

1. Living in Paradise
2. Walls of Jericho (it's kind of between good/catchy and abysmal, for now I really dislike it, but could change if it works in live setting, though something else must "work" for live setting to even happen)

So from 13 new songs, I very much like 4 of them, and another 3 are rather alright in my eyes. That's best since forever (pun intended).

I'd rate album as 6.5/10 considering classics, but in regards to contemporary output, it's somewhere at HAND or even LH level, which is good enough, and much more than expected to be honest. So top3 since 2000.

EDIT: Also to add, People's House with earlier production style with dynamic wars and mush instruments of vocals + instument noise, as on HAND, WAN, etc. would be just a random filler. But here, you can hear nuances and different instrument parts. Whole album goes in this direction, same as 2020, just 2020 had weaker material and voice.
