This is exactly the problem - what a ridiculous thing to do. You don't ever promote yourself to the public the same way that your do your peers (or potential peers). I don't think any businessman would really have taken him very seriously based on this documentary as so much that was clearly played up to the cameras.
The CEO should know how to present himself to the public and his fan base (ie. the people that are buying his records and concert tickets). This is not it!
