The more I watch, the worse it gets. It's exactly the same as it was when he last performed.

Zero Changes! Very Sad

It's much, much worse. The hoarseness is more extreme than I've ever noticed. He sounds like a corpse without a tongue.

Woah... he has lost it completely. I feel sorry for him.

There is NO way he can do a stadium/arena show.

Side note: there wasn't any concert in Brazil in '18. They happened in '17 and '19

His voice was on the decline for many years but the diminishing was linear.

The decline from 2019 wasn´t linear. The jump is exponential.

What was new in 2020 apart from the album of theirs´?

Yes, Covid.

Jon has been having his voice down the hill from many years but Covid has likely annihilated it.

I think almost all fans had the same expectation and are now severely disappointed.

We thought a little vocal repair in combination with over a years rest could bring his back to a somewhat listenable state. I'm not looking for him to hit crazy notes or sing in original keys but just hoping to hear him sing something I could actually listen to without feeling bad. And then we all listened with anticipation to only conclude that time stood still and he is in the exact state where he left off over a year ago.

I could seriously talk the songs better than he could sing them.

It's someone with laryngitis, singing behind the songs, skipping words, miss pronouncing everything, in all the wrong keys.

I feel like it's a Saturday Night Live skit of a terrible singer on American Idiol trying to perform a Bon Jovi song in their audition.

IMO he sounds even far worse than last year. He has absolutely no voice left, it’s all just hoarse huffing and puffing with zero sense of key or timing.

2017-18 was glorious compared to this.

I think he sounds neither worse nor better than last year. He sounds a little more hoarse, but also a little less nasal, so it’s kinda just a trade-off with the same end result.

To be fair, I was also one of those who didn’t expect any improvement. He sounds pretty much like what I expected him to sound like.

I feel sorry for him. I did think maybe with rest and “treatment” his voice would be a little better but still sounds the same to me.

There’s no way he can tour with that voice without getting a little bit of help (maybe playback on a few songs :/)
