I think they have plenty of material to do both. The demos, outakes and rought mix along with live material could be released on the Experience during those two years.

And End of 2024, could be launch a multi-disc box set, with polished, great-sounding unreleased songs like 100 Millions Fans Can't Be Wrong.


I don't see why all these things can't coexist. We are on a 40th anniversary. Having a new and juicy product at Christmas is a possibility.

For now we are having a new release of the first album with unreleased takes as bonus tracks, a 4-part documentary series for Hulu and Disney Plus, and a new album that will be released in June.

Yup, same. If the backstage site gets paywalled and replaces the box set (and we get regular updates) I'd gladly take that in place of the box set.

What baffles me is that we have been using the experience website for a month, and they have not updated anything, not even Jon has explained the plans for all this. We only have small previews.

I think it was Last Cigarette. Though that probably didn't have a big impact on Dave's bank account

Yup, Last Cigarette.

2006ish a group of videos went up, Jon being interviewed during the early Japan run of the HAND tour. As the interview went on and on you can tell he was visibily drunk (he was holding a wine glass throughout). I can't find the video anywhere and I regret that I can't remember how the subject was broached but the interviewer brought up David co-writting Last Cigarette and Jon openly said David didn't have anything to do with writing it really, it was something he did as a favour to him to help him out.

I'm a bit hazy on it but it was almost 20 years ago and it rubbed me the wrong way so I was very uncomfortable to watch it ever again. Since then I can find some videos from that interview but not that one so I don't know if it was taken down or what but this is that night if anyone wants to find it:


Makes ya wonder how involved he was in his only other writing session from an album since I guess Crush, Unbreakable

The video for Legendary will debut tomorrow! I was not expecting the video with the song on the same day...seems like they really decided to put some great effort on this new album.

In aprox 3 hours we will be able to see the video.




Hopefully he will surprise us with the addition of a guitar solo.

There won’t be a guitar solo. There was no reason to cut it from the live performance…although I hope I’m wrong.
