The People's House is one of the first songs written for the album right?

I have a vague memory about Jon that tells in one video about that title, when he said that the band(or Shanks?) said to him to change direction, something like that...

Do you also hear those clapping sounds before the chorus starts? I don't really like them.. If they replaced those with drum beats it would have been much better.

I'm such a sucker for handclaps in songs so I enjoyed the hell out of that but I can see why others wouldn't.
