With WAN: Tico refused to come in until late in the recording process 'cause he didn't agree with Jon's schedule. Jon's own words.
The drums have been sounding like shit for most of the last decade on the records. John's to blame. No matter wich one, pick your "favourite" for that
For too many, I agree

Drums are bad, but the worst are guitars, in absolutely all Shanks Jovi albums. Back in the days, Bruce Fairbairn and Bob Rock used to do only one take of Sambora's guitar per song, pan it to the left and be done with it, because they would capture the essence and might of the amp in live tracking setting. Today you have walls of 20 guitar tracks that lack any power. It's not only Shanks, this wall of sound travesty was very big in early 2000's. And even Shanks softened it on 2020 significantly.

I don't see talk box mentioned in that twitter thread at all, was that said somewhere?

EDIT: Ah disregard, found her mention it in a different tweet.

I had someone send me a review today

'Walls Of Jericho' is very rocky and guitar driven.

'Living Proof' is also rocky

'Seeds' is 'rhythmically' and 'wonderful'

'Waves' is great

'Kiss The Bride' is the wedding song of 2024.

It's good that people, are praising the 7 songs they have heard.

I expect some fans will love "Forever" and some won't, holding on to a past Bon Jovi which vocally and musically isn't going to return, if Bon Jovi continue depending on JBJ's voice and Tico's health he is 70. I'm sure Tico has a retirement date in mind before 80? 75?

Who knows if there will be another Album(s) after "Forever"

But glad there is a positive reaction to what may be Bon Jovi's final Album.

I don't think this album will be the last.

We Made It Look Easy.

Which means they played the first six songs, skipped Peoples House and went right to Walls of Jericho.

Guitar solos?

Did a woman send this review?
Just wondering as most guys would never say "wedding song of the year" they would say "some sappy song about a wedding"
