Default New unathorized Bon Jovi Biography book

Just found this, there is going to be a new Bon Jovi Biography coming out in November, I don't believe its authorized, but the writer seems pretty legit journalist, here is the info https://t.co/tAVk6UaPLp

...Containing over 35 new interviews with music luminaries like Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford, ex-Scorpions drummer Herman Rarebell, Nickelback bassist Mike Kroeger, music mogul Derek Shulman, and media personality Eddie Trunk...

...There are 25 sidebars throughout, covering solo and side projects, major collaborators like Desmond Child and Wayne Isham, the Slippery When Wet cover debate, the band’s Moscow festival performance, Jon Bon Jovi’s philanthropy and acting, the rise of tribute bands, and more.
If Halford, Child and Isham are involved, you can rest assured that they wouldn't be doing this without Jon's blessing, official or otherwise.

I just saw this somewhere today.

Does anybody know anything else about this book? I did some research (2 minutes on Google lol) and he has written about the band before and I think he even interviewed them at some point?

Anyway, I'm not going to buy it but curious to know if anybody gets it, if it's worth the money

The book is out in the US, in New Mexico at least. Lots of cool pictures, but riddled with errors. To name a few, the book says Phil was trading rhythm duties with Bobby before he took over for Richie.
It also says the title track for "Lost Highway" is "One Step Closer."
Terrible editing across the board, but the book seems to come from a pure place. Doesnt swem to be a cynical project.

Thanks for the review, seems like a good read

The author recently wrote a good article on the band: http://observer.com/2016/08/how-bon-...pery-when-wet/

I like his writing style and minor errors aside, it's quite an objective essay. Biographies tend to be sickening positive or ridiculously scandalous

He actually did, e.g. he was playing on the studio version of What Do You Got in 2010.

I had forgotten about What Do You Got! The way I read it was that Phil was already on tour with the band.

It'd have to be in the wording but that's not....entirely wrong. He WAS playing with Bobby until Richie got back until it was clear he wasn't coming back and then officially took over. Maybe?
