0/10.

Working Man is a shit song by all means, but I find it tolerable to listen too. This, on the other hand, it’s offensively bad.

I see a lot of people here complaining about Shanks, saying that he’s making the albums sound like they do. That’s true to an extent, but that’s the sound that Jon wants. If he wanted something different from this, he would get together with the band and a new producer and do it.

Jon talks about how he doesn’t want to write another You Give Love a Bad Name or Bad Medicine, which is a big pile of BS. The reality is that he CAN’T write another YGLABD or Bad Medicine anymore.

I voted 3/10 in the morning after just 2 listenings.

Now that I listened to the song more than 10 times, can I change my vote to 1/10??

I cant understand how,the guy who wrote Keep The Faith can release that piece of shit of single to promote an album?
And,to tell you all the thruth,I cant understand how he also has picked that horrible cover and horrible title album.

Everything is a massive disaster.

First of all, the people who gave this a 1/10, just don't get how ratings work. And not because the song is much better than that, not at all. For a song to deserve 1/10, it has to be a failure of spectacular proportions. It would mean that they tried something different and it was a disaster. This cannot be a disaster, because they didn't really try anything. You can't call a person stupid if he/she never said a word. Or in sports terms, you can't miss a shot if you didn't take it. And this song feels like dribbling the ball until the time expires.

I gave this 5/10, which seems to be one of the higher ratings here, but I'm not happy about the song at all. I don't feel offended by how bad it is, because it's not. Instead, I just feel apathy. I remember saying something similar, when THINFS (the song) came out, but this rings even more true for Limitless - I wish this was an actual 1 or 2 or 3, because it means Jon and John actually took a risk. But they manage to make it sound even less risky than THINFS. As terribly unoriginal as THINFS was, at least it felt like they tried to write a Bon Jovi song - they put a classic Jovi structure, the hook was memorable enough, the solo was easy to listen to. At least it felt like it can represent the modern Bon Jovi - unspectacular, yet solid. And this song is just emptiness - after two listens I don't remember the melody, I don't remember a single line or an instrumental riff, nothing. I don't remember anything bad about it either. Meh.

Maybe some of you who work more closely with the industry can help me out here. What's the deal with "Associated Performer..."? When I first saw it on Unbroken, I thought it was similar to a guest performer (ie., someone other than the artist); but even Jon and Shanks are listed as Associated Performers. Is this just a new way of writing credits that they're using now?

They are associated with the recording, i.e. the artists who performed on the recording?

An atrocious song. I went with 2/10 only because I fear that there will be worse songs on the album.

I'd take Unbroken over this any day of the week. At least there is a sincerity to Unbroken. Limitless is horrific in every single way.

I give 1/10 to your post.

With this in mind, I don't think the song is so terrible after all.

I know people complain about Shanks, but he and Billy Falcon know music. WTF happened here?
