Yea, my thoughts exactly Matt. It can't be truly retro without sounding dated in my opinion.

I finally get a around to watching this and really enjoyed it. I had put it off because of the reactions here. I find nothing to complain about.

It's just a boring song for a big rock band... and yeah, it's lyrically fitting but still a snooze-fest for a bunch of non fans...Other than that , the perform was fine...

To be honest I wouldn't care for one bit what the hell the band played if one of the biggest bands in the world came to play at my graduation. Maybe just here in Sweden we're not used to having acts like Bon Jovi showing up at our graduations...
