I heard on Hair Nation (Sirius XM) that they were going to be playing new music from Richie's CD next week. They're doing some kind of "discover new music" thing which is unusual for them. They mostly play old songs.

Its a shame to say that this album suffers heavy from the loudness war, its far to loud and clipping on many tracks.
Some good tracks on it, but it should have been remixed and mastered by someone else.
The newer Jovi albums also suffers a bit from this but not as much as this one..this is next to Metallicas Death magnetic!

Agree, I was really disappointed by Ebbin on this one.

Me too, funnily enough. Was expecting a bit more from Richie but to be honest, the songs are there and they're good (Taking a Chance on the Wind was one of my less favourite songs until I saw the clip above). It's the production that actually takes away from them...

After hearing What About Now (or whatever there is to hear of it) and seeing Jon's lacklustre performances, it just makes me wonder - has he ever bothered listening to it? Or watching some youtube clips of Richie in Europe? Doubt it…otherwise he'd know there's a big gap between the two. Then again, there has probably always been a big gap between the two.

Yeah, I agree. Even Who Says performed by Richie sounds better - he changed some lyrics, played it bit heavier and it was... cool. I hope this acoustic version means he is preparing something for us - maybe it'd be the EP?

And, by the way - where the f*** is SYG video? :P
