WHY?) and the guy next to Richie constantly butting in with irrelevant comments. Richie was not the problem here. He was chilled, just being himself, and told some great stories. I wish certain other people could be more real and honest in interviews.
Aree, interviewer and the other guy were a mess and like you sad he constantly butting in with irrelevant comments.

Did Richie steal your wife or something? He said it was around the time that he was mixing OWN, and was around 40. What else did you want? Hes 65 years old and has lived a lot of life since then, why are you expecting him to rattle off an exact date? The interview was fine, Howie had a great time. IDK why you are so pressed here.

I enjoyed it. With artists, I wanna see that there's still genuine passion for their craft left and don't need someone talking like a business man, politician or the likes. This guy has lived life to the fullest for 40+ years, it's all good. At least I didn't get to hear a certain "I call him Beatle-Paul" story for the umpteenth time.

He couldn't even say the full word "Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame"... He literally sounded like a Joe Biden debate.

I can't believe no one can see this.

Well no, but Richie's not Jon. There's always been two sides on here and it's pointless to even start a discussion between the two, let's call them "fan bases".

No one can see this because it’s in your head and you obvs have a personal problem with the guy. I don’t even know what you are implying…he’s clearly sober and lucid. He’s a little goofy because he’s in his 60s and he acts like an older person. And the guy has always been a little goofy. Everyone involved had a great time—black letter media is all over their socials promoting the ep, so obviously they think it went well too. Sambora derangement syndrome…

We agree he's burned out. We agree he had his vices and his brain is fried from years of it. It's you that won't shut up about it any time he gives an interview like you're giving us a scoop.

Stop calling your opinion fact. Some liked the interview, some didn't. can we please move on?

Some of the fans are just bitter imo. Yeah, the guy likes to drink and probably still does sometimes. In this specific interview, he's the most sober I've seen him in years. People clearly underestimate the long-term damages alcohol can bring. Rambling and mumbling, memory issues... if you keep partying hard well into your 40s and 50s which he did... it leaves a mark. Even when sober.

Especially the amount of songs released and recorded, not to mention anything recorded that just never come out, that's going to blend together. The amount released in that decade is wild. There's a video of David mentioning being on the Have a Nice Day tour.....on the Lost Highway tour.

If a dude can't remember what he did in 2000/2001, who. god. damn. cares.
