Really? Not doubting you, but I remember Jon struggling a lot and basically shouting the whole song. I really don't want to listen again to any KTF from the past 3 years to compare, but I distinctly remember my ears bleeding several times and here it was quite pleasant

Jon can't get better than the few decent performances from 2013. That's fine by me, I never thought he sounded horrible when he sounded decent in that tour.

Looks like Axl Rose and Steven Tyler are getting my money next year.
Yep. Tyler and Rose are still capable of singing their back catalogue and don't appear glued to one spot.

I'm really loving the new album. I'm playing it twice every day on average.

Maybe it's time to drop some of the old stuff and focus on the post 2000 stuff?
Yes, it pretty much is unlistenable, though the band sounds tight.

Thanks Rdkopper for sharing the show! Well, I'm listening and it sounds pretty good. Sure, on some songs Jon sounds like he's about ready to cough up a huge phelgm that's been bothering him for a week but he sounds really good on others and there are a lot of bright spots here both in terms of how he is singing the songs and how he's reaching for the notes. I still think the guitars (namely Phils) should be turned up more, there's energy throughout the performances and a clear effort has been put here and come tour time I think we'll be about ready for another tour DVD

Guns and Roses 2016 in Philly was probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to in my entire life...

If Steven Tyler and Axl Rose can still sing those high notes like they did in the 80s and 90s, then good for them, God bless them for being able to do that, but Jon Bon Jovi is not Steven Tyler or Axl Rose, why do you guys keep comparing all the time with the voices? Everyone is different, there not the same style or the same vocal range, I think Jon's voice has changed and he knows it, he is trying to work with what he's got now, sometimes it works and sometimes maybe it doesn't, but to keep complaining and comparing Jon's voice with other musicians is just silly and unfair, IMO. Just let Jon Bon Jovi be Jon Bon Jovi, and just be happy he is still performing, maybe not to your expectations or satisfaction, but he is out there working hard, cut him some slack!

Haven't listened to any of it yet but the general consensus seems to be that Jon can't sing the back catalogue of hits any more. That's a big problem. Fans expect a rock show with all the classics.

Bon Jovi doing Runaway Tours will be the next step.
