I wonder if there’ll be a DVD version which will include Slippery When Wet: The Videos (just like the New Jersey: Deluxe Edition from 2014) and maybe some live performances?

Thanks for that. Will see what the price is like first. I’m not banking on it but hopefully it’s a decent master and not brickwalled like other remasters.

Some of these tracks haven’t seen the light of day in 30-odd years so would be nice to see them listed. Just wish it were more comprehensive like New Jersey: Deluxe Edition.

The debut remaster uses the same master as the 2010 ones I believe, so I doubt it's a new remaster. The live stuff may have a new mix from Obie, like the Tokyo 85 stuff did.

Nah, with all the stuff in the archives, they could have given us some of those demos on the backstage site in full. Similar to what they did with the debut new edition.

Shame they seem to be skipping over 7800 too...

Nice track list there. Weren’t there loads of demos of tracks that eventually made it onto the original album knocking around for decades? Like the New Jersey demos that eventually made it onto the 2014 Deluxe Edition? I wished some of their other albums got the same treatment. Would be a good excuse to actually release all their old VHS/Laserdisc titles onto DVD.

It looks like this Deluxe Edition has been delayed until February 2025.

On spotify we can already preview the deluxe edition. Raise Your Hands (extended mix) lasts a minute and a half longer. Im pretty curious how it ends now, I bet without the fade out?

The version on the 5.1 mix had a short guitar intro before the usual start of the song and it did end, rather than fade out. But this version was only about 40 seconds longer than the original album version, so I'll be interested to hear how this new version differs.

Nice to see that they don't seem to have edited the live version of Let It Rock down at all, as it runs at almost 12 minutes.
As with the original B-side from Detroit, Wanted will include Richie's acoustic solo as that runs at 8 and a half minutes.
