"Shelter, food and sex is all we need" This phrase was a real feeling of Richie a few years ago (maybe add alcohol).
Not so much fuss over the word sex. Weathering The Storm is not a universal song, is a personal song about the experiences that Richie has passed in recent years, he has been lost, walking down the wrong path, that phrase is proof of that. This song refers to the past. Jon has the perfect life, and it's ****ing vanilla, Jon only sing the love.
But the life of Richie is different and always had a dirty mind, I like that.
Funny:
Remember Richie gestures in Bad medicine, remember pants richie on bounce tour, yes, the girl sucking the ice cream in his crotch. Richie has spent years wandering from flower to flower, not for love, but rather out of necessity, we all know that there was no romance with Denise Richards or Yasmin Mitri, was just sex.
Weathering The Storm is real, not a utopia as many songs of Bon Jovi. It is a personal experience of the past, when richie wandered aimlessly, not a universal message about for overcoming our problems of life.
And the song Sugar Daddy.... is the guilty pleasure of Richie. Don't take it seriously.
