I actually got the set back in August from someone on Ebay who had a few he said he got from a bulk shipment. What that means , I have no clue and really don't care. But I do know that I paid only $61.00 USD (including shipping) for it! That might have been the best purchase I have ever made! It came factory sealed and was in mint conditin. I haven't watched the DVD yet (saw it so many time on VHS, that there was no real urgency, LOL) but will probably check it out soon and will report back.

I decided to give in and buy that box set off ebay aswell. £60 with free delivery. Considering it worth around £349, I've practically stolen it.

I bought the special edition box...got it for only $99...packaging super nice...SHM CD's sound only slightly better...and...while it is nice to have AAA on DVD it litterally looks like they just took a VHS copy and slapped it on DVD...really I think my old VHS copy looks better...it also has japanese subtitles which were annoying...one more thing....playback was choppy in my PS3 for some reason...played in another DVD player fine.

What all of you have bought are counterfeits, just fake copies made in China. There are tons on ebay

ALL the inserts from all the CD's (CD jackets, tour pass replicas, printed photos, and lyrics sheets) look like a colour photocopy, with washed colours and a bit blurred print, compared with the ones from the official boxset

If what I bought was fake then it is the BEST fake I have ever seen. They took painstaking time to recreate each album sleeve, all the inserts are perfect, complete with plastic sleeves and all. Also the SHM CD's do sound better than the regular CD's, slightly, there is a difference. So if it's fake they did a fantastic job with copying the CD's for my fake box! If it's fake then it is AWESOME! and money well spent...on music I already own!

SO are the Japanese subtitles on AAA permanently "stamped" on to the video or are they optional?

None of the colors on my inserts look washed or blurred. And how did they get the packaging (meaning the actual box it comes in)so dead on?? Oh well either way, I would NEVER pay $300 for the set. I am very happy with my purchase and I only see about 5 or 6 on ebay at the moment, far from tons!
