I like Unbreakable better but Wildflower fits better on the album.

And I see Wildflower as significantly less original than Unbreakable, because thematically they've done it at least three other times I can think of. I don't really hear the Backstreet Boys in Unbreakable.

Maybe the Backstreet Boys part comes after the "news flash: I'm causing a commotion/jump back, I'm poetry in motion" part when I'm laughing too hard to hear the next minute or so of the song

not that I was asked

Six months later and yes I'm still having a very nice day. I really like this record. It keeps finding it's way into my cd player every other day or so just because I like hearing it. No song by song breakdown for me, i'll just say this one as a whole "does it for me. It sounds like BJ to me and even better it feels like BJ to me, and after seeing all but two tracks live several times I have to say this record suits them as a band right now, when they perform these songs you can tell how much they love them and how into playing them they are.

Yup it's still going strong for me too. Only song I actively skip is One Last Cigarette(which I would've taken off in favor of Dirty Little Secret which should be released as a single). Some have grown on me more(WSYCGH, Bells) and some a bit less(HAND, Complicated - which I don't like nor do I actively hate) but generally I still enjoy the CD a lot.

I still have HAND on regular rotation - at least once a week. Still enjoy it very much!

Probably Wildflower, Unbreakable doesn't really fit. Would take Nothing or DLS over either of them though

I´m really liking HAND. The only tracks I skip are Wildflower and Complicated, though Complicated is starting to grow on me a bit. 6 months on and I´m still playing it at least once a week. After 3 months Bounce was collecting dust on the shelf.

Good review Walrus, but I'm not sure the album actually deserves 7.5/10...
