This is probably an old release. Does anyone have it, and is it worth getting? It looks like there are a few alternative versions of songs on there as well as a couple of live covers (Jailbreak, Not Fade Away, etc).

I have this and love it to death. The live versions come from the Live In London special that aired on MTV back then.. except for the acoustic Janie.

For those who already brought the special edition CD, I just want to know is the packing the same as the old one? Or is it re-designed?

The artwork stayed the same.

I salute you,

No it didn't. The only thing that stayed the same is the front cover (it'd be silly to change that because it's what makes people recognize the CD in the first place), but apart from that they changed a lot about it.

Sebastiaan

Does anyone have, or has anyone found, scans of any of the new interior art?

Yes, but it's a picture from Terri so I'm not posting it until she approves or does so herself. It looks pathetic and there's no real booklet with lyrics, just a fold out sheet of 4 times the size of a CD booklet.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Thanks for your opinions guys. Are the extra tracks all live tracks or are there some alternative versions of the songs on there as well? It looks like a decent amount of tracks compared to the new Bon Jovi special editions. I think Destination Anywhere is a masterpiece. It's one of my favourite albums in my entire collection, not just Bon Jovi stuff. I think I'll just buy this and forget about the new BJ album releases.

Disc 1 is the regular edition, disc 2 are live tracks. Sound quality is as followed:
It's a nice bonus disc and like every bonus disc edition it's better than any of these new special editions.

Sebastiaan
