What's with the beginning of Blood On Blood? It sounds like either a VHS or cassette tape was sped up then released?

Any ideas?

No, it's done like that so that it sounds like as if the song started like that. Obie cut off the banter Jon used to do before the song started.

Salaam Aleikum,

Thanks for the info Seb. Couldn't he had just done a fade-in?

Are these meant to replace the old stock remasters in the stores? There's only one store that has them near where I live, and it's a bit pricey. Don't know if I should wait or not.

Yeah - that says it all. Though I always assume that he is working under Jon's orders rather than making these decisions on his own.

I believe so, eventually.

The only Jovi studio album I don't own is Bounce so this is the perfect reason to buy it.

Apart from one thing - the one reason I've always never bought it is because of how expensive it seems to be :/ I've no idea why, but it's real expensive so I'm expecting this new special edition to be even more expensive.

Ah well.

Ok, do you get to download the song from the Vault? I wasn't going to buy any of these, but the 7800 album having Silent Night I may just get it. I would like a live version of this song.

That seems to be the case, though it also seems that they are using Tokyo 1985... so for many of us it's nothing new. I admit I loved that track to death and played it (along with every other track on that bonus disc) on heavy rotation. I guess for those who still don't have it, it's a good thing.

I hope to see a comprehensive list of what's available this coming week. God willing, I'll see Novocaine in the Vault for HAND,
