Where is this date from? The documentary couldn't have been completed that long ago could it? Seems a little early for Richie to watch the first 3 episodes but maybe not?

From what we know, there was IG pics of Jon recording some talking head footage maybe a year-ish and a half ago and Richie's interviews were shot in London. I'm not going to put money on it but if he was in London it was probably around when he was filming Masked Singer. That aired Jan of 2023 and must have been filmed around Dec 2022 since Richie had a show in London in that period so I think a seven month editing window is pretty realistic.

Maybe they sat together and watched it without speaking to each other. 4 hours of awkward silence. Then Jon's statement would somewhat still be true

I remember years ago that a piece of info was flying around about Hugh last minute doing overdubs on Prayer because Alec wasn't around. At least it was presented this way. And coming from the band camp.

Later it got confirmed by Hugh himself on his website through written q&a that he played on all the albums since SWW. However it wasn't clear whether he played all or just participated.

I think we are giving this topic on which albums Hugh played and on which he didn't too much space. Besides us die-hards, nobody cares who played the bass.
And since Hugh wrote it down on his homepage back in the day, we already have the confirmation.
I don't think the documentary will go in any details or give us any kind of better overview. Especially since Alec isn't around anymore, that's no topic the band will feel the need to focus on.
