I actually enjoyed the WWWB Doc. I mean, it didn't come close to Access so because of that, it took me a few viewings to adjust... It's literally like watching 2 different bands but WWWB just showed the older business side of the band. Sure Jon had an ego with his CEO attitude but what rock star doesn't have an ego in some way? I know that rubbed some of you the wrong way but I think it's always been like that.

Jon likes to play pretend and this was the period he was looking to purchase an NFL team... For those who don't know, purchasing an NFL team is more than just having the money. That's only half of it. The other half is every team owner also votes to let you purchase to ensure the league is protected. They don't want some major corporation or someone with ill intent to buy up a bunch of teams just to misrepresent them.

I truly think WWWB was to show that Jon's not just a rock star but someone capable of running a business. I also think it's the reason why he stopped dying his hair and aged 20 years. He needed to be taken seriously by the NFL Owners to win their approval (votes).

I agree.

WWWB wasn't the best or the most entertaining documentary ever, but I felt it presented an honest picture of Jon at that point in time. Things such as Jon bitching, Jon doing CEO things, other members drifting away from Jon was annoying for people to see, but it was the reality of the situation and people were complaining about these things at the time even without the context of the documentary. It would've been very easy to put a feel-good story full of cliches, (especially Jon was still sounding OK and Richie was still there), so I'm glad it did not go that route that so many documentaries do.

This is exactly what it is and I think everybody understands this. However, it clearly almost entirely ignores the music and focuses on the CEO Jon. That would be fine I guess but the doc also doesn't take a close look at Jon's role. Instead it is a birds eye view of what he does without really getting into it. That makes it fall into a grey area that goes nowhere and has no real purpose. I found it boring more than anything where the band are rarely even together.

Spot on. It was the complete opposite of Access All Areas, which showed a real band in it together, them against the world, taking their music to the masses. WWWB showed nothing about the music, it made the band feel less like a band and more like Jon and his minions that do his bidding in order to make as money as possible. That's all fine, but the fans on the whole don't want or need to see that side of it. The music wasn't even a secondary concern at this point, it felt like it didn't matter at all. A lot of the backstage stuff felt contrived as hell and not natural at all. Jon came across so cold in it, that I have really struggled to warm to his since. I kind of wish I'd never seen it.

Considering how the band was managed when it was Jon calling the shots, that was probably for the better lol

I am not sure if _that_ track record makes it believable he'd have been a good fit for team ownership. Matt running the team's Twitter would not have been greenlit!

I forgot, when did the Soul Kitchen project start?

Damn we're so close to these debut dates, and the band's media aren't promoting nothing on it...

The Documentary release is still 7 weeks away. They promoted it with the initial press release, and then the teaser trailer and they will surley post about this new trailer. Not sure what else the socials should be doing at this stage. It's too early. There will surely be a lot opf post in the build up a couple of weeks before...

There's no point posting about a single that isn't out yet either. New single coming soon posts are a waste of time of you can't post a link for people to hear at least clip of the song. Again, expect that in the days before the launch, with the video, pre-order details for the album etc once the countdown on the website is complete
