That makes no sense. Before launching burning bridges / THINFS he said he was considering releasing an album on solitari, he also said something similar to Lost Highway, which was going to be a "Jon and Friends album", but in the end he wrote almost all the songs with Richie and it was more logical launch it like Bon Jovi. If you consider Bon Jovi to be your solo albums, you just don't think about getting another music under the name of Jon Bon Jovi.

Bon Jovi is About The Band, and Richie was always the most important after Jon. That is something so evident, both live and in composition and recording in studio. That's why it is so annoying to hear Jon say this nonsense.

It makes sense. Jon came across as a moody SOB in some of the BOG interviews, probably because that was the pinnacle of the band's "feud" at the time. This was also the time where he stated in an BOG interview that he was "gonna chase some great pussy" in a nightclub in London, even though he had been married for about a year at the time.
Doesn't mean that Jon always thought of the band album's this way, but there was the first noteable shift in his personality around that time. Remember that Bob Rock had also stated the band dynamics had been significantly different (more towards Jon and his musicians) during the work for KTF in contrast to SWW and NJ.

Since next year is "an election year" and it's pretty obvious JBJ is against the actual president: Donald Trump. Maybe maybe and only maybe he is in the mood, and we have another rock song like Have A Nice Day. Please...
I mean, it's very tired be standing at a concert for hours, and then to hear music that makes you sleep, it's a nightmare!!
