Working with a new team hopefully means a new more modern sound, a departure from the usual BJ sound. Wait & see!
BTW, I've just watched "Merry Xmas" again and I noticed that Bearden was NOT on keyboards (but maybe he had better things to do that day or he caught a cold during the Parade, it was just a TV show, not a gig
rolo_tomachi, you meant Michael Bearden, not Luke Ebbin, right?!

I meant it's fantastic having Michael Bearden, sounds great. But I think Luke is still in the production of the album. My hope is that Orianthi is more demanding with respect to production. All albums of Ori have a very clear sound mixing, and hopefully this new album also is.
About Michael Bearden, I think it will be a creative partner, a good counselor, or call musical guru, and also hope that this guy have things to say about the production and final sound of the album. More creative heads = best album.
Having Richie Sambora + Orianthi + Michael Bearden and Luke Ebin on the album is good. Richie also have co-written a couple of songs with Tommy Marolda (co-songwriter of Ballad of Youth, One Light Burning) and Bruce Foster (co-songwriter of The Answer). They have recorded in several important studios, Abey Road and Capitol Records (on Sinatra's Mic), among others... I think it will be a good album... and Richie begins to sound better.
