I think it will be the release of the single from the album. On the other hand, let's see what happens, there are still 20 days before the launch, I hope to see some more movement and information.

The touring machine may have worn him down, but the whole stuff, downtalking the band's recent stuff, even tracks like Runaway... that comes across really shitty given he's yet to do anything now that he's free of the chains of the band's machine.

What does Ori do for a living, actually? Richie has that Bon Jovi money left to burn, but do they really make that much money touring? Does she do gigs on the side, other than solo shows? Does Richie do encore performances of Sugar Daddy for her?

Every album by Richie has taken its time, this is not new, the only difference is that this time is a joint project with Orianthi.

Richie said lately that he was tired of the process of recording album + Tour + recording album + Tour + Recording Album+Tour ... So this makes sense to me. I think the Bon Jovi albums were done at a very fast pace to fit the schedule of a future world tour, and little time to recharge batteries or just to reflect. Richie is over 55, no longer the young man he used to be, so he wants his life to be more relaxed, and I have no problem with that. Albums of Metallica, U2, Aerosmith and a lot of more groups take the necessary time between their last tour and the recording of their next album. They all look healthier than Bon Jovi to this day.

That's sad. You do not seem to give a shit just because not with Bon Jovi anymore. Imagine we're in 1991 and you do not give a shit about Stanger in this Town simply because Jon and Richie are no longer best friends.

The only thing that this release scares me a little, is Orianthi, I do not know if this mix is going to please me, I'm a big fan of Richie, I want to Richie sing and do his solo, so it's going to be a little weird listen to this union, but hey, music is what matters, maybe there are great things in this record.

And if the thing does not work, I suppose that the next one would be a record of Richie without collaborations.

Let's face it. There are quite a few people out there who want this album to flop so the (un)dynamic duo breaks up and Richie comes back to his senses. Or Jon. Or both. I dunno bc I just can't see her as a Yoko Ono of Bon Jovi and Jon seems to be unable to perform anymore.

I talked to my friend the other day and she told me she can't see Jon touring Europe again or it will be just a few gigs like in SA now. Not because he doesn't want but because he can't do it. And mind you, there are quite a few who claim it's better to put the gun away than kill the legacy of the best live act ever. I used to be on the fence, heart battling reason to and forth, but now I'm not so sure it's good to push forward no matter what.

RSO project can be a little distraction and who knows, maybe it's indeed a musical gem and a breath of fresh air in the stuffy room full of disgruntled die-hard fans...

And I wonder if the album does come out, whether Jon will congratulate Rich on twitter, too. Or post a pic of them together. Or nothing at all.

Although Jon congratulates Richie and Ori on their new album does not mean things are fine.

I think everything will clear up in a few years. Maybe for a return in the next decade.

Jon won't and shouldn't congratulate Richie... Richie congratulating his old band that he walked out on was the right thing to do... Jon should not return that back to a band he was never in...

Just had this conversation with someone, she's done a one off with Melissa Etheridge this year, the rest are charity performances with RSO. Yet she posts "our" chef and the lifestyle almost daily. She got off Alice Coopers tour bus and never looked back. If this is how she wants to make a living - so be it - but I've not been impressed, like two people play working while living the dream life. He earned it however.

I think they clash vocally, they don't perform well together imo and I think the "liquid" courage is effecting the shows. Rarely does mixing personal and professional work - remember fashion? Ready for this to come out - be their Allman & Woman and hope that Richie will give us another Stranger or talk to his old band once this hits. It will be toured however - thinking that will garner interest. The shows have been inconsistent. Too much of this and IF he really wants to continue a career (he can afford not to) it's costing him a following. People are tired of waiting. Just be honest.

As Bounce said, she didn't say a year. Too much seems to be missing, no album pics, no registrations, no label name, no teaser single (unless you count I got You Babe 2 years ago). Taylor Swift has an album out Nov. 10th, singles are coming out, promo has began and the cover is all over social media. Pre-orders are up. Nothing from RSO but what she posts. I expect another delay and the next release of Feb. 30th...... Neither of them even have a web site now and rso.com is taken by Richmond Symphony Orchestra. If you want any merchandise there is even no where to order it - I mean a guitar pic with her cat....

I agree with the above... the few of you getting excited here are getting excited over nothing... Give me some real promo material.... Give me a real rock album with just Richie and you raise my interest... I've seen nothing impressive from these two to date... Richie wants to go mainstream with some country flavor and I think that's the first mistake... the second is trying to combine their talents which has zero chemistry both vocally and instrumentally... I think Richie is trying to use whatever fame he has left to kick start his girlfriends career but unfortunately, once this album flops, she's going to dump him... That's when he goes into a bigger depression and goes crying back to Jon... This is not going to end well...

Jesus Christ you are a bitter bunch. Get over it already. If you don't care move on, don't read this thread and waste your time commenting.

For those of us that do, Let's hope Sept 22 brings some good news.
