I think you're missing the point. I'm pretty sure that 22nd is going to be the date that they release the info about the album, not the actual album release! In which case, I'm not expecting anything else until then...

You post a date and it gets people taking. Look at this thread for example and the comments on socials etc. It builds up anticipation. It's kinda how social media works in 2017....you don't shoot your load straight away, so to speak....you build things up...

They are working with this company who have some pretty big clients, so I guess they kinda know what they are doing...

Well, in THIS case it builds up mostly frustration, at least from what I've observed among the fans. Personally, I think it kinda amusing but I understand those who have been waiting with bated breath for those last few years.

The comment I get the most is "I'll believe it when I see it" and I guess that's one thing everybody can agree on

A month ago that would have been true, but we are way past the believing it when we see it stage now. There are movements, things are beginning to progress and we have a date. A lot of the people still saying "I'll believe it when I see it" are either the bitter BJ fans that still haven't gotten over that fact that Richie has moved on, or people that are out of date with their info....We will all know in 10 days, then the "I'll believe it when I see it" brigade can finally shut the hell up...

Hopefully I do want to hear their stuff, particularly read the lyrics. It's not a secret the guys pass the truth along the lines and it's a better source than any interview, even if it's always a bit fictionalized

Very true, it will be interesting either way....I still have hope that it could be amazing, but it could also be a disaster...more likely, somewhere in between...

Most probably but it's still worth those two-three gems anyway...
