The Richie Sambora & Orianthi album

Can't say that I fall into either of those fan categories, but I have said that I'll look for it when I see it coming.

I might feel a little more confident about it if the September 22 date had been posted on the website or even if theqof "soon" had posted it without prompting. But it seems like it was just a response to a fan's question about a date for the album. Not an announcement per se.

You could be right that this is just a subtle effort to get a buzz going, but if so, it's very subtle. I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if anything happens on the 22nd. But as I said earlier, at least it's a Friday. That's something, anyway.

BTW, where did you hear they're working with official community.com? Maybe I overlooked it, but when I checked their site I didn't see any mention of RSO.

100 percent agreed. Dropping a date gets people talking. Dropping a date in something you can only see if you click Tweets and replies on one half of the member's twitter isn't designed to drum up people talking. She answered a question, she didn't do it to get people excited and wondering what's happening. I'm not saying this as someone bitter OR as someone out of date with info. I've been in date with every bit of info that has changed after announced. There's a third sub category that is baffled with this project.

As for Official Community, it's on the RSO website. It looks like they're running it. (http://www.rsoofficial.com/ at the very bottom).

Oh, you guys make it sound like it was just a random tweet to make that particular fan happy and the date is not by any means binding and final. If so, maybe Ori shall really stick to food recipes and pics of Miss Scarlett so people will be talking anyway ._.

Again, that's how social media works....and it has worked, this forum is proof of that. The fans analyse everything, and they know that! This is not a date for release, it's a date when the information re: the album will be released. They are not going to make a big deal of that, that's what will (hopefully) happen on the 22nd. I can't see her casually dropping and actual date unless it was somewhat set in stone...

I wasn't necessarily talking about just the release date, but the mailing list, the new photos etc...it's all building up to something. If nothing happens on the 22nd then I will gladly eat my words!

And Jackie, I'm sure that I've said "I'll believe It when I see it" too in the past, god knows the wait has been long enough to justify that, but I just feel that now things are happening and moving forward, it isn't really justified...I don't see a scenario where we won't get this album before the end of the year now...

Did Ori have info about RSO on her Instagram Profile at some point? I know there's no mention of it on her twitter bio. That was Richie's twitter bio until it was clear he wasn't coming back. Shocked he kept it in and added RSO.
