Oh right! I forgot about Walk with me. With two spaces left I wonder if Magic/What Have We Done is being shelved for the album? Or they made it and Making History did not?

All this time we wait for the album, and it's only half an album. Great.

At least there's no mention of I Got You Babe so far

I'm a little bummed it's only going to be an EP, but at the same time happy that we are getting something. Hopefully it will lead to a full album or more EPs....

Yeah I get that, but if we get 4 x 5 track EPs over 12 months (20 songs) instead of 1 x 12 track album, I can live with that...it make sense as they say that they have so many tracks recorded....

I just hope it's not an EP and then more months of silence...

Who the hell buys EPs anymore? They've got enough songs, too. Stop stalling, goddamnit. It's not like the labels are gonna offer more cash for a full length after the spectular success of the debut EP.

Actually, the question is who buys ALBUMS anymore. In the days of music streaming, etc, the album is a dying format, unless you are a huge act. People are more interested in single songs than albums, or indeed artists...

A lot of bands release EPs instead these days because is draws out the time length of the project out. If you release an album September, chances are that by Christmas it will be forgotten about. If you release an EP in September, One in January, one in April, etc etc...its means that the whole length of time that can be spent promoting/touring the product is vastly increased...it's actually a smart business decision....

The days of being on the road for 2 years and releasing 5 singles to support an album after the release are over for most artists.

Alternatively, if they still plan of releasing an album, then an EP to proceed it is a good idea as the majority of people have not heard any songs from RSO, so releasing and EP and creating a bit of a buzz before dropping the album also makes a lot of sense, rather than just randomly dropping the album with little promotion...

But with these guys, who knows...we will just have to wait and see...

That EP when it will be released? maybe Sep 29?

I hope the thing works and get more EPs in the short term, or a complete album. But well, the new music is here, now let's ear how this duo is, and what sound they have with Bob Rock.

I would imagine that the EP will either be released on 29th, or Pre-orders will go live on the 29th...

Agreed with Thinny, EP's are very in fashion these days. I like them, it puts focus on the songs instead of 12 track albums that have filler to pad out the length. For artists to throw out EP's every few months, great, it's the fact of how long this project has taken that bums me out to get a short release. If it leads to more, awesome!
