No ones' dismissing anything. It's called a discussion. If you read back you will see that my comments on the EP have not been completely positive at all...

"It's called a discussion" is a little condescending, eh? I'm all for discussing but there's an air of "if you don't like this then you're still bitter he left the band" and there's going to be a people who dislike this project on its own merits and not why it was formed.

I can’t say the same on the growing on me. I love all kinds of genres but as Rolo pointed out there isn’t a whole lot of originality here. I don’t hate any of the songs. Because I am a fan, like telling a friend a an outfit looks good, I have a natural built in bias to want to like the songs. So, I also ask myself if this wasn’t Richie would I give these songs the time of day or skip and being honest right now the answer is skip.

I do not think that is the case of the majority. I think they always hit the new, or almost always, it does not matter if it's Richie or Bon Jovi, they always try to knock things out. But time always puts things more settled. The pity is that we do not have a rip-off to replay it, although fortunately for me, i could listen the streaming several times.

The sound is not so different from the Magic fragments and the other songs that have been played live, but I think they are better songs though. And bob rock works well the mix. It definitely does not sound as lame as Aftermath, the new songs have a HQ mixing and i heard this by streaming. I hope the EP is available in iTunes and physical formats.
